What is your experience?

I have a long list of various jobs as I job-hopped quite a bit upon LMSW licensure! I have experience in the child-welfare system, psychiatric hospitals, addiction field, school systems, play therapy, group therapy practice, macro-level work, and was formerly the Director of a non-profit sober high school in Austin, TX. I have been in private practice since 2022 and began teaching at the UT School of Social Work in 2023!

What is your style of supervision?

I implement the same approach with supervisees as I do with clients - very relational, gentle, and direct. My goal is to tailor it to your learning style as I would tailor modalities to specific client needs. I can be reflective and I can be logistical. I love everything about clinical work and watching others find their way in this field!

What forms of supervision do you offer?

Group supervision is available if I have enough supervisees who are desiring of a group-format. Otherwise, we will have 1:1 virtual supervision. I do not have availability in the evenings to hold meetings with supervisees, and this is important to note!

I’m scared to admit when I don’t know what to do with a client or if I make a mistake. How do you approach this?

I am with you - I still don’t and will never know everything! That is the fun part about this field. We get to navigate the parts of ourselves that are really wanting to do the best for our clients. I will reassure you that you have the inherent skills for this work, we will find the corrective measures, and we can solidify a plan for both clients and you to move forward with repair and confidence.

What are your rates?

$100/hour = $400/month

How do I know if you’re the right fit for me?

Finding a supervisor can be much like finding the right therapist. It takes some exploring! I encourage you to talk to at least 3 supervisors before choosing one. Check how you feel inside with each. Supervision can be vulnerable at times and it is important to feel safe with who you will be working with!
